Make your move quicker and simpler with Assisted Move
Have you found your perfect Latimer home but still need to sell your current one? We can help.
Hand over the selling process to us
Selling your home can be a complex, time-consuming process and without a confirmed sale the new home you’ve found and love could slip away from you.
The good news is that with Assisted Move, we’ll do it all for you. From property marketing to the sale itself, we'll work with our established network of partnerships to keep everything as simple as possible.
We partner with organisations who help create our vibrant, well-designed communities. These partnerships are key to us delivering thousands of homes each year, and to help you enjoy your new home and community.
For Assisted Move, we also partner with local estate agents who we know and trust. Together, this helps us deliver a sale quickly and simply for you.
How to get started with Assisted Move
There are two ways you can find out more, and get started, with Assisted Move.
1. Speak to your sales adviser if you're already in touch with us.
2. Register your interest in one of our eligible developments and we'll be in touch with more details.
Four simple steps
Step 1 – Valuation and photographs
As long as you own your current home (and it isn’t a shared ownership property) any kind of property is eligible for Assisted Move.
Simply get in touch and we’ll arrange for a valuation and photographs of your current home to be taken at the same time. We’ll compare the valuations from a few agents, so we get the selling price exactly right.
Step 2- Marketing your property
Once you’ve approved the estate agents’ evaluation price, you can sit back and enjoy the thought of moving into your new Latimer home.
The estate agent will market your property locally and use all of the big property selling websites. They'll work hard to get the agreed price, as well as a quick sale.
Step 3 – Keeping you updated
The aim is to sell your current property within a 6-week period. We’ll keep you updated on the level of interest and any offers received. We will also make recommendations on adjusting the price if we think this will help you complete the sale.
Step 4 – Completing the sale and purchase
Once you’ve received an offer you’re happy with, the sale of your current property can go ahead and you can buy your new home.
Your percentage of the agent’s fee will be deducted from the proceeds of the sale and Latimer will pay its percentage directly to the estate agent.
It’s important to know that if your current property doesn’t sell in the 6-week period, then Assisted Move may be stopped. You will then be free to sell your property independently and can still progress with your new home purchase when you're in a position to do so.
