Make your move quicker and simpler with Assisted Move
If you've found your perfect home with Latimer, but are worried about selling your current home fast enough to secure your purchase, then Latimer can help.
Hand over the selling process to us
We’ve all heard about those nightmare scenarios of property sales taking forever.
Without a confirmed sale and progress on your purchase, the new home you’ve found and love can easily slip away from you.
The good news is, with Assisted Move we do all the property marketing and selling for you, working through our established network of partnerships.
We partner with organisations who share our vision for developing vibrant, mixed and well-designed communities, and who thrive on helping people to become part of them. Our partnerships are key to Latimer delivering thousands of homes each year, and to people like you enjoying fantastic new places to live.
For Assisted Move, we partner with local estate agents, who we know and trust to deliver a sale quickly for you.

Four simple steps
Step 1 – valuation and photographs
As long as you own your current home (and it isn’t a shared ownership property) any kind of property is eligible for Assisted Move. Simply get in touch and we’ll arrange for a valuation and for photographs of your current home to be taken at the same time. We’ll compare the valuations of a few agents so we get the selling price exactly right.
Step 2- marketing your property
Now you can sit back and enjoy the prospect of moving into your new Latimer home, while the estate agent we’ve commissioned markets your property, at the valuation price you’ve approved. They’ll use all of the big property selling websites and work hard to get the agreed price, as well as a quick sale.
Step 3 – keeping you updated
The aim is to sell your current property within a six-week period. We’ll keep you updated on the level of interest, any offers received and make recommendations on adjusting the price if we think this will help you complete the sale in the required timescale.
Step 4 – completing the sale and purchase
Once you’ve received an offer you’re happy with, the sale of your current property can go ahead and the purchase of your new home can progress.
Your percentage of the agent’s fee will be deducted from the proceeds of the sale and Latimer will pay its percentage directly to the estate agent. If your current property doesn’t sell in the six-week period, then Assisted Move may be terminated. You are free to sell your property independently and can still progress with your purchase when you're in a position to do so.
