Who is eligible for First Homes?

In order to access the discount offered through First Homes, there are some national* and local eligibility criteria to meet.

Applicants must:

Be purchasing their first home.
Have a combined household income of less than £80,000.
Have a mortgage or home purchase plan to fund at least 50% of the discounted purchase price.

What is First Homes?

First Homes is a new Government-backed scheme crafted to help first-time buyers purchase their first property. First Homes are just like normal, open market homes, but they are offered for sale at a significant discount of 30% on the market value.
